Description |
Unfinished portrait of a woman wearing a large hat with pink and green feathers and a blue ribbon tie. Her face stands out from the darkness of the hat. The background is unfinished and the lower portion of the picture is largely unpainted. The signature appears in the lower right area. The canvas is very lightly painted using the dry brush technique. In many areas the original pencil sketch and the texture of the canvas are evident through the paint. |
